5th graders made their favourite rooms of their homes in a shoe box. They built the pieces of furniture that belonged to each room, like beds, sofas, carpets, pictures, vases, side tables and desks, with different materials like playdough, wood, etc.
For the speaking task, students learnt a dialogue about the room, which they had to complete on their own. Then, they presented the shoe box with the room and performed the conversation. The students were enthusiastic about making up this project and presented a well-learned and nice conversation.
